On April 4, 2014 Marvel released another movie, Captain America, The Winter Soldier. With a rating of 8.2 from IMDb , this new action movie has stormed the box office. In four weeks the movie has earned 225 million dollars. The Winter Soldier is also number two on the USA Box Office charts.  In this thrilling action movie Steve Rogers, also known as, Captain America, struggles to embrace his modern life. He soon begins to battle an old enemy, a Soviet Soldier, who calls himself The Winter Soldier. Some of the many famous actors starring in this movie are: Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, and Scarlett Johansson. This action movie is highly entertaining and fast moving.

Freshman Katherine F. said, “I enjoyed the dynamic Captain America and Black Widow had, they played so well off each other, and they had some really funny jokes. I also really liked the falcon, he seemed really cheesy in the trailers, but I actually really liked and sympathized for him in the film. He and Captain America also had some great back-and-forths. Probably the only con I had a about the movie was that a couple plot points seemed a little far fetched- but hey, it’s a comic book movie and they’re hardly known for being realistic right? I loved how much black widow was in the movie, one of the only problems I had with Avengers was it was a completely uneven team, there were so many more guy superheroes. Marvel needs some more strong female leaders.”  All in all Captain America The Winter Soldier was a thrilling movie and very entertaining.
